I pivoted careers to dog training after adopting her rescue, Ollie. He struggled with reactivity and stranger danger, and she didn't know how to help him. Witnessing his transformation through force-free methods inspired her to work with dogs professionally.

Her approach to dog training is one of curiosity, influenced by her previous work as a speech-language pathologist. Why does a dog behave a certain way? What are they trying to communicate? How can we teach them a different behavior? To her, a true solution comes from both empathy and evidence-based practice.
